This is one vacation that Cyndy will never forget. Cheri Crystal has written a short story that eloquently captures the depth of relationship between Cyndy and Tristan. The two main characters are a reasonably new couple and have a lot to learn about each other, and the reader learns right along with them. She doesn’t make the mistake of buttonholing her characters in their butch and femme roles, but allows them to be the full people that they are. The backdrop of all the activities of Women’s Week was also cool.
This is truly an erotic romance, and I particularly liked that the descriptions of the sexual activity between the characters starts out slowly, while we get to know Cyndy and Tristan, and builds to a more intimate (and adventurous) level as the story progresses. I always like to read about people who truly care about each other, and it doesn’t hurt that they also majorly turn each other on.
