It had been hard to believe the day after my fiftieth birthday, I woke up and despite being at the pinnacle of my career I made a drastic decision to give up corporate chaos for greener pastures. But even more incredible was when I gave my termination notice and ultimately went through with it. That was a year ago and I still had no qualms about kissing city life goodbye in exchange for a more satisfying occupation, keeping our parks pristine for everyone’s enjoyment.
My newfound serenity, coupled with a sense of genuine purpose, rejuvenated me. The trees breathed life into the area and the area breathed life into me. Bliss was gardening while communing with park visitors who were good for a laugh whether feathered, furry or human. One lovely lady ate her lunch on the same park bench, rain or shine. Though we had not exchanged more than pleasantries, I looked forward to, enjoyed, and somehow felt whole in her presence. It was weird that she affected me so; as I said, we had never spoken at length. Perhaps it was how she complimented the scenery sort of like a bronze garden sculpture would when strategically situated to attract attention. Only she was way more colorful and very much alive.
When two best buds seek revenge on an old high school rival, wet and wild hardly describes the wicked day Patricia, Davida and Lisa have at a water park.
Born on the same day and in the same maternity ward, Patricia and Davida have been friends since the cradle. Theirs is a rock-solid friendship up until high school, when one pretty, hot and tempting Lisa “Diva” cheerleader gets between them with her relentless flirting and vicious lies. Their bond at the umbilical cord is severed, but not for long.
Ten years later, Patricia and Davida meet Lisa again. This time, revenge and salacious sex of the wet and wild kind might just put their past to rest.
. . . I was tempted to reach Davida and call off the prank, but I got so involved watching Lisa soap up, the moment passed. When she washed my back, I nearly drowned in desire. I prayed she couldn’t detect how her actions had turned me on. Sharing a narrow stream of water that had to be restarted every couple of seconds meant standing real close. The delicious sensations racing through my body . . . reduced me to a trembling wreck.
At first, I didn’t notice we had company. When I moved my face out from under the water and turned, Davida was there, buck-naked. She had Lisa in a hold, stealing her breath away in a fierce, almost mean-spirited kiss that left Lisa visibly shaken, but obviously aroused. Her nipples and goose flesh were a dead giveaway.
The Ties That Bind is a wonderful sexy story with the spice of a BDSM lifestyle. Tristan and Cyndy were two women who had hidden their true nature from each other. With the help of some friends they come fully out of the closet into each other’s arms. I found the story to be touching as well as exciting and was never disappointed. Cheri Crystal writes a story that is thrilling to read.

|When Cyndy’s girlfriend invites her to Women’s Week in Provincetown, Massachusetts, all she expects is a fun time with other women and lots of great bedroom time with Tristan. And the home they rent with Tristan’s twin and her girlfriend is a dream. But you never know what to expect when your girlfriend is not only incredibly sexy, but also amazingly adventurous. This is one vacation that Cyndy will never forget. Cheri Crystal has written a short story that eloquently captures the depth of relationship between Cyndy and Tristan. The two main characters are a reasonably new couple and have a lot to learn about each other, and the reader learns right along with them. She doesn’t make the mistake of buttonholing her characters in their butch and femme roles, but allows them to be the full people that they are. The backdrop of all the activities of Women’s Week was also cool.
This is truly an erotic romance, and I particularly liked that the descriptions of the sexual activity between the characters starts out slowly, while we get to know Cyndy and Tristan, and builds to a more intimate (and adventurous) level as the story progresses. I always like to read about people who truly care about each other, and it doesn’t hurt that they also majorly turn each other on.
